It all began when I was looking at what the ingredients were in a lot of the available dog treats. What I found was a large number of things I could not pronounce and had to look up.

Not surprisingly, there were additives, fillers, stabilizers, and other ingredients that generally weren’t the best for dogs to have. That is when my journey began of making treats that are tasty, nutritious, and healthy!

I also have very picky dogs who don’t like a lot of treats and will quite literally turn their nose up at them, so the endeavor was two-fold: find treats that were healthy AND Picky Pup approved!

So far, the pups have approved every single treat I’ve made!
